Visualizing the Procedure

An Asset That Keeps Working

Animated the procedure to create a reusable visual asset that can extend beyond the webpage and be adapted for social media, helping bring complex medical information to life in a more engaging format.

GOAL

Create high-quality 3D visual assets for key market webpages that accurately represent commonly performed medical procedures and help customers better understand how devices are used in a clinical setting.

Because these procedures involve complex anatomy, medical devices, and multiple components, the challenge was creating visuals that were both technically accurate and visually clear.

ROLE

3D Modeling • Medical Visualization • Scene Composition • Lighting • Workflow Development

I developed the 3D assets primarily in Cinema 4D, using ZBrush when additional organic modeling was needed. I established a repeatable Cinema 4D and ZBrush workflow that allowed me to create detailed anatomical elements while maintaining manageable file sizes and consistent visual quality across future assets.

APPROACH

I began by building the organic anatomy in ZBrush, refining the forms and adding the detail needed to accurately represent the procedure. Once complete, I optimized the models to a manageable polygon count before bringing them into Cinema 4D.

In Cinema 4D, I integrated the medical device components, developed the full scene, and finalized composition, materials, and lighting. This workflow gave me the flexibility to create detailed medical visuals while keeping the assets efficient enough for use across digital content.
