Product Demo & Explainer Video

The above video is the short version designed for trade show and social media use.

Goal

Create a flagship product launch video designed to serve as the foundation for a multi-channel marketing campaign, combining cinematic live-action footage, interviews, and 3D animation to communicate product features, functionality, and craftsmanship across web, social, trade shows, sales enablement, and YouTube.

Role

Creative Direction • Storyboarding • Product Cinematography • Lighting • Interview Production • Long-Form Video Editing • Color Correction • Motion Graphics • 3D Animation • Post-Production

Process

Led end-to-end video production in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, from concept development through final delivery. Co-developed the storyboard and shot list to create a flexible narrative that could support a long-form hero video while supplying content for multiple marketing channels.

Executed the on-location production as a solo operator, managing cinematography, lighting, audio, and interview production while capturing cinematic product footage across multiple real-world use cases.

In post-production, edited the long-form product launch video in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, integrating live-action footage, interviews, custom 3D animations, motion graphics, and an animated opening sequence. Structured the edit to balance technical depth with visual clarity, making complex product features and functionality engaging and easy to understand. Completed color correction, audio mixing, and final finishing, then optimized the hero video for YouTube while creating reusable assets that supported the broader launch campaign.

Below you can see the early storyboard frames used to define the narrative, plan key shots, and align stakeholders before production. This process ensured a clear visual direction and streamlined the live-action shoot and post-production workflow.
